Your safety is our number one priority, which is why we’ve implemented strict protective and preventive measures to ensure a secure gaming environment for players and staff alike.

Only EGDs will be available for play during the first phase of our reopening.
We are working closely with local authorities on several different models that would allow us to reintroduce poker in the near future.
To ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained, and to remain in-line with local regulations, Playground will have a set capacity of 100 guests at any given time, split between 2 zones.

Reserve your spot
Due to our capacity limitations during the initial phases of Playground’s reopening, players are encouraged to reserve their spot using our quick and easy online booking tool.
When booking your visit, you’ll be prompted to choose your time of arrival, as well as the expected duration of your stay - up to 3 hours. Please keep in mind that if we’re at capacity at the time your reservation ends, and there are new guests (with reservations) who are waiting to get in, you will be politely asked to exit the gaming area. For this reason, we suggest you choose a time delay on the upper end of your expected stay. In the event you usually play more than 3 hours, you can make more than one booking for the same day.
Prior to being granted access to Playground, both guests and staff will be asked the following screening questions:

Fever and/or chills
Sudden lack of taste or smell, without nasal congestion
Answering yes to any of the above questions will result in the individual being asked to return home, self-isolate for 14 days and call their nearest COVID-19 test center.

New onset pain (muscular, chest, abdomen, joints)
New intense fatigue
New severe loss in appetite
Answering yes to any two of the above questions will result in the individual being asked to return home, self-isolate for 14 days and call their nearest COVID-19 test center.
Cleaning and Sanitization
All customer-facing areas, including walls, floors, ceilings and other static elements of our building will be cleaned and sanitized once every two (2) hours. During peak business hours, this cleaning schedule will be reduced to once every (1) hour.
High-contact areas such as door handles, counters, PIN pads, and any shared equipment that will exchange hands will be cleaned and sanitized before and after every use, before it can be used again.
Each of our 449 Electronic Gaming Devices, and their respective chairs, will be cleaned and sanitized after every use, before they can be used by another player.
All high contact areas will be further disinfected, between 4am - 9am, with an electrostatic application, further protecting all surfaces from bacteria and viruses.
Masks and PPE
Face masks are mandatory for anyone coming inside the establishment. Playground will provide masks to anyone who forgets to bring one.
As well as masks, Playground will make disposable gloves available for anyone using our ATMs and self-redemption kiosks.
Our gaming floor has been reconfigured to allow for social distancing between all guests. Our EGDs are now spaced out in a way where the next closest available seat will always be a minimum of 6’ away.
All areas where guests would normally queue, such as the cashier, ATMs and self-redemption kiosks have physical distancing markers placed on the floor, to help guests identify where they need to wait while in line - in order to maintain 6’ distance between other guests.
Directional arrows have been placed across the gaming floor, making foot traffic unidirectional and void of any bottlenecks. Our team members will also ensure the smooth and uninterrupted flow of traffic throughout our complex to maintain the appropriate distance between all guests.
Posters and signage
Posters, signage and graphic displays are strategically placed across our gaming floor to provide visual reminders of social distancing, the requirement to wear your mask as well as reminders to frequently wash and/or sanitize your hands.
Seating at The Rail has been adapted to comply with physical distancing guidelines issued by local authorities - one of several measures in place in our dining room to provide an equally safe and enjoyable dining experience to our guests.
Guests will be required to sanitize their hands upon entry. Furthermore, sanitizer stations have been set up between most of our game banks, as well as throughout our complex, to ensure their accessibility to guests anywhere in the building.
Distribution of stylus pens
You’ll be given a stylus pen at the door so that you avoid coming into contact with gaming devices.
Updates to our F&B service
Complimentary drink service will still be offered to those sitting at EGDs. However, our drink offering will be limited to non-alcoholic beverages until the Kahnawake COVID-19 Task Force approves the reopening of bars within the territory of Kahnawake.
To limit unnecessary contact, we will be suspending our valet service during the initial phase of our reopening.
Until further notice, smoking will not be permitted inside the building.
Employees who show any flu-like symptoms have been instructed to stay home and get tested for COVID-19. Further, every employee must submit a completed self-assessment questionnaire prior to being granted access to the building. This must be completed for each workday, without exception.
Physical distancing protocols are used in the employee break and dining room, changing areas, shared spaces and other high-density areas. As with customer-facing areas, every other seat, station or desk will be removed to maintain a minimum of 6 feet between each seated employee.
