Your safety is our number one priority, which is why we’ve implemented strict protective and preventive measures to ensure a secure gaming environment for players and staff alike. Take a look below to get a better idea of what to expect.
We are open 24/7
Proof of Vaccination
As of Wednesday, September 1, 2021, ′Proof of Vaccination′ (′Vaccine Passport′) will be required for all guests entering the Playground Complex, including The Rail Coal Fire Bistro.
Guests will be required to show their VaxiCode (QR Code) on their smartphone prior to entering the premises.
Guests who do not have the VaxiCode (QR Code) on their smartphone must show a PDF version on their phone or a printed copy of their code. Guests can use the QR code received by email or text after their most recent dose of vaccine in paper version. If they haven't received their QR code, they can download it from the self-service portal on Quebec’s website (Quebec.ca) and print the document. If they do not have access to the Internet and a printer, they can call 1-877-644-4545 and ask for proof of vaccination in paper version to be mailed to them.
In addition to proof of double-vaccination, guests will need to show a piece of photo (government) ID.
Guests who come from outside jurisdictions that may not have access to the ‘passport’ equivalent that Quebec does will need to show proof of double-vaccination based on what has been provided from their respective jurisdictions.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Face masks are mandatory for anyone coming inside the establishment. Playground will provide masks to anyone who forgets to bring one.
Masks must be worn while walking around the property, but players may remove them once seated at their poker table or EGD.
There are currently no restrictions or limitations on the amount of tables or EGDs. All our games are available to play.
To ensure social distancing guidelines are maintained, and to remain in-line with local regulations, Playground will have a set capacity of 1,000 guests.
Please follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram) or monitor this page for updates regarding our capacity, procedures and safety measures.

We ask that all guests maintain a safe distance between other guests while in queue, such as the cashier, ATMs and self-redemption kiosks.
Posters and signage
Posters, signage and graphic displays are strategically placed across our gaming floor to provide visual reminders of social distancing, the requirement to wear your mask as well as reminders to frequently wash and/or sanitize your hands.
Sanitizer stations have been set up between most of our game banks, and poker tables, as well as throughout our complex, to ensure their accessibility to guests anywhere in the building.
Updates to our F&B service
Complimentary drink service will still be is offered to those sitting at EGDs and poker tables. And poker players also benefit from complimentary food at our cash game tables.
Seating at The Rail has been adapted to comply with physical distancing guidelines issued by local authorities - one of several measures in place in our dining room to provide an equally safe and enjoyable dining experience to our guests.
Our Free Valet Service is now available. Our Attendants are required to wear masks, both inside and outside the vehicles, sanitize their hands before receiving a vehicle and remain a minimum of six feet (6’) from guests. Weather permitting, they will also lower the vehicle’s windows once they enter and close them once they have parked it. Valet Attendants will not operate a vehicle that is occupied.
The text to valet service is not currently available but will return soon.
If you prefer to park your vehicle yourself, drive straight past the portico at the main entrance, and our parking lot will appear in front of you. There are over a thousand well-marked spaces in our self-parking lot, and it’s well lit at night for your security.
Smoking is permitted in certain areas.
Employees who show any flu-like symptoms have been instructed to stay home and get tested for COVID-19. Further, every employee must submit a completed self-assessment questionnaire prior to being granted access to the building. This must be completed for each workday, without exception.
Physical distancing protocols are used in the employee break and dining room, changing areas, shared spaces and other high-density areas. As with customer-facing areas, every other seat, station or desk will be removed to maintain a minimum of 6 feet between each seated employee.
