Schedule: Full-time & part-time (evenings & overnights including weekends)
Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
Who you are: We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person with a passion for poker to join our remarkable team. Experience with the game either as a player or a dealer is a must. This job entails being a team player and being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
How it works: Our dealers are among the best in the world and we pride ourselves on the quality of the game we provide to our players. In order to maintain this high level throughout our team members, several steps will follow your application to this position.
You will be sent a quiz by email. To qualify for step #2 you must score above 70% in that test and take no more than 20 minutes to do so.
Those who qualify will then be scheduled for table tests. A table test includes hand recognition testing, chip counting (stacks/piles, all-ins, and pots), math percentage questions, pitch, shuffle and chip-cutting testing.
Those who succeed in step #2 will then have a background check processed.
Once the background check has been approved, all candidates are initiated through a 6-week paid training course before hitting our floor. The training will run from January 18, 2020 through March 7, 2020 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 7pm-11pm, & Saturdays 10am-7pm).
Must be bilingual (English and French) and 18 years or older.
Must be able to work seated for long periods of time and do repetitive upper-body movement.
Must have strong mathematical skills.
Must be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
